Saved to the Uttermost!

Hebrews 7:25 – Wherefore He is able also to save them to the uttermost that come to God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them.

As we have been studying so far in Hebrews, we have seen the writer of Hebrews make a strong argument that Jesus is superior to angels, Old Testament prophets, Moses and now also the Old Testament priesthood.  It is an encouragement to know that our Lord, who is also our Savior, and King, and our High Priest is also eternal, unchanging, and forever mediating on our behalf.  He is “able also to save” us “to the uttermost.”

We must never forget, nor take it for granted what we have saved from.  Brother Dean has been preaching lately about “the Relief of Revelation” and how the book of Revelation should be looked upon by believers from a perspective of relief.  Part of that relief as he has pointed out deals with the fact we have a relief in that we have been saved from an eternity in Hell.

Thank you Lord for saving me to the uttermost!

Blessings,
